Welcome to Marydale Park’s Outdoor Education Program.
The C.Y.O. has over 40 years experience providing Outdoor Education (O.E.) Programming to all Elementary and High School grade levels. Marydale Park, is our newest Outdoor Education facility. It is located 20 minutes from the heart of Hamilton’s downtown core and is an amazing multi-purpose, universally accessible outdoor recreational facility.
We currently provide customized O.E. programs for all elementary and high school grade levels.
Marydale Park’s Outdoor Education Facility
Marydale Park is a brand new, fully accessible outdoor recreation facility located on 35 acres of land bordering the Binbrook Conservation Area and Lake Niapenco, a 430 acre reservoir. Marydale Park offers a wide range of barrier-free programs and outdoor education activities making us the perfect choice for your school trips and outdoor education programming.
Marydale Park’s outdoor education facility connects students to the Natural world around them and its amazing wilderness location brings learning to life and inspires a sense of wonder and hope for our young people.
OE Staff
Staff
Our Outdoor Education (O.E.) staff includes senior educators, along with university and secondary education students who have been selected for their sound values, good judgment and leadership qualities. These experienced individuals are committed to ensuring that all students have a safe, enjoyable and educational experience during their visit to Marydale Park and our 35 acres outdoor wilderness recreational facility.
All of our O.E. staff are also trained in first aid and carry a current Police Record Check (PRC) to ensure your students have a safe and rewarding time in our care.
