Marydale Park is a brand new, state-of-the-art outdoor recreational facility located minutes from the City of Hamilton’s downtown core. When you arrive you won’t believe that a facility of this size and amenities can be so close, yet so isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Marydale Park is perfect for large events such as:

Frequently Asked Questions about rentals at Camp Marydale

What is provided in my rental fee?

  • In your rental fee you will be provided both the outdoor and indoor facilities (i.e. the Marydale grounds and our indoor ‘Great Room’). You will also have access to use our outdoor washrooms and indoor kitchen.

Will I have to time allotted to set-up before my event and take down following it?

  • When booking your rental , please include your setup and cleanup time. These times will be charged the rental fee. We highly suggest you include this in your rental, in order for your event to start on time.

What is accessible to me in the kitchen?

  • You will have access to the refrigerator, microwave, oven, and sink. You will also be able to use our coffee machines, which can make up to 25 cups of coffee.

Will I be provided with tables and chairs?

  • Yes! Included in your rental is tables, chairs, and our white linens. We have round tables and rectangular ones. Our round tables fit 8-10 people comfortably. Note: being provided with tables/chairs/linens is not an additional charge.

What are the Covid-19 protocols for the indoor space?

  • There are currently no Covid-19 protocols for use of the indoor space. Marydale Park will be following all current and updated provincial guidelines in regards to Covid-19 protocols.

Can I serve alcohol?

  • Yes, you may serve alcohol at Marydale. However, if you are selling alcohol you must acquire an SOP or liquor license. It is highly recommended that you have a ‘smart serve’ holder handle the distribution of alcohol for your event.

Can I bring my own food/catering?

  • Yes. You must bring your own food and/or catering service for your rental at Marydale. Our facility does not serve food or cater events.

Will I have access to Marydale staff for the entirety of my rental?

  • Yes! Our agency will provide your event with staff that will be at your disposal for the entirety of your event. The staff will allow you entrance into the grounds/building and will close up after your event. They will be able to provide you with extra chairs/tables should you need them.

Do I have to clean-up after my event?

  • Yes! You must clean-up after your garbage and take any materials you brought following your event. Marydale staff are there to be of assistance but are not responsible for cleaning up.

Will I have access to sports or audio visual equipment?

  • No. Unfortunately, our facility will not be able to provide you with such equipment. As of now, we are only renting out the facilities for your event.
